Unlike its applications in similar institutions in the world and in Turkey, content analysis of information resources in our collection is being conducted. As part of this activity, persons, especially the members of Sabancı University, institutions and activity information located in an archive source are determined and works are being carried out to add this information to the bibliographic record. The aim of this application is to identify the members of the Sabancı University, one of the most important building blocks of the institutional memory, in the information resources contained in the archive through analysis (date in audio, visual, photographic and textual environment) and present it to the user in an accurate and consistent manner when needed.
In addition to this, the association of different types of information and information sources of the same activity or content, and the gathering of information and information resources produced by different units for the same activity are some of our institutional practices. With these applications, we aim to make our users benefit from the information resources available in our collection quickly, effectively and correctly.
