The aim of the University Archives Division is to collect, protect, organize and digitize all kinds of information related to the university's historical, cultural and intellectual heritage and to create utilization services that will support/enhance research to be done on university's educational, teaching, research work, social, cultural and academic activities and put these into use.
We organize inter-departmental information meetings where we have the opportunity to learn the expectations, views and suggestions of our academic and administrative units about the university’s archive. As a result of these meetings, the subject lists for each of the constituents of the 'SU University Archives Classification System' are created. Analysis, cataloging and classification works of all sources coming from the units are made according to these subjects.
