Use
Faculty members, emeritus faculty members, administrative staff and students of our university can benefit from the information sources in the University Archives. Sabancı University graduates, retirees and external users can examine the information sources at the Information Center with special permission.
According to the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846, the design, information resources and all content of the website are described as "work"; the ownership rights as well as financial, utilization, use and transfer rights of this work belong to Sabancı University. In case of violation of these rights, Sabancı University reserves all of its legal rights. Please read the terms of use contained in the Copyright Notice - Disclaimer section for more information.
Access
The accessibility of an information resource in the University Archives is determined by the person, unit or institution that produces the source. In this context, the resource provider may choose three different access methods:
Open Access: Information resources are organized so everyone can access them.
SU Members Only: Only Sabancı University Members (faculty members, administrative staff, and students) can utilize the information resources. Graduates can benefit from the collection by visiting the Information Center. External users can examine archive information sources with special permission.
Restricted Access: Sabancı University units can allow access only for the employees of the unit, taking into account the specific situation of the information resources they provide.
In order to be able to organize the access status of archive information sources as 'open access', the persons, units or institutions responsible for the creation of the resource are required to submit their requests in writing (e-mail, letter) or via the WebForm to the University Archives during their provision.
Information resources whose access status cannot be determined during the supply of resources are determined as 'SU Members Only'.
